Student exchanges

The Network will finance  short visits by students to a partner institution that hosts the specific technique or technology platform. It is expected that all students will spend a

total of 6 months at the laboratory of an associated partner. During the exchanges, the associated partner will provide the expertise and instrumentation, and the visiting student will have the opportunity to get acquainted with different research environments and new techniques for problem solving. This scheme will ensure that the young researchers receive: (i) training and experience in skills and techniques that are not part of their academic curriculum (ii) opportunities to establish valuable contacts, and (iii) access to key technologies that are not available at their home sites.
